This very nice illustrated volume about the life of the internationally famed American aviator Charles Lindbergh by George Buchanon Fife, is clothbound in red linen and embossed with gold gilt stamped typography on its front cover and spine. The volume was first jointly published in 1927 by Press Publishing Company and The World Syndicate Co. and then solely published in 1928 by The World Syndicate Co. The volume is titled 'Lindbergh, The Lone Eagle, His Life & Epoch Making Flight.' Inside are various black and white photos of the famous cross-Atlantic American aviator. Accompanying the 1928 clothbound volume is an original 1927 Lucky Lindbergh copper coin. Charles Lindbergh needs no introduction, as being the first person to fly non-stop from New York City to Paris, France, non-stop. He became not only an American sensation, but also an international one and an instant celebrity, rising up from the once lonely position of US air postal clerk and pilot to becoming world famous and one of the most well-known Americans of the 20th century.
